27 THOUSAND TABLETS DELIVERED TO STUDENTS IN 27 CITIES AS A PART OF THE 10TH PHASE OF COMPUTER DISTRIBUTION

While students went back to school during the 'controlled normalization in education' process, the Ministry of National Education continued to distribute tablet computer sets. As a part of the new phase of distribution set for March 22 and April 2, 27 thousand and 445 tablet with 25 GB internet package were distributed to students."

The Ministry of National Education continues to distribute tablet computers in an effort to reach more students as a part of its motto, "equal opportunity in education." As a part of the new phase of distribution set for March 22 and April 2, 27 thousand and 445 tablet with 25 GB internet package were distributed to students residing in 26 cities of the country.
 
In January, the first goal was to distribute 500 thousand tablet computers for students who needed computers and internet access during distance education, however, the Ministry managed to exceed this figure and distributed approximately 700 thousand tablet computers.
 
The Ministry started to distribute 27 thousand and 445 tablets as a part of the 10th phase. The Ministry plans to distribute another 18 thousand and 764 tablets to students of boarding schools.  
 
Minister Selçuk had a meeting with bureaucrats
Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk had a video conference meeting with the regional directors of national education working in the cities where the tablets were distributed.
 
Noting that national support to face to face education continues, Selçuk stated that the Ministry continues to distribute tablet computer sets and internet packages to students during the 'controlled normalization in education' process.
 
"A year has passed since March 23 when we started distance education activities. We have founded 3 television channels in ten days in an effort to prevent any interruption in the education of our students. EBA digital platform which became the most visited internet site and a world brand has increased its content quality.  We have offered dozens of printed and digital education material support to our children and distributed tablets and internet packages. We have exceeded the goal we set in January and we have distributed approximately 700 thousand tablets until now. We also provide alternative support to children in more than 15 thousand EBA Support Points where all hygiene measures are taken," said Minister Selçuk.
