4.3 BILLION LIRA EDUCATION INVESTMENT TO ANKARA

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated during the Ankara Provincial Assessment Meeting that education investment allocated for Ankara in 2022 was increased by 4 times and reached 4.3 billion liras.

Minister Özer attended the Ankara Provincial Education Assessment Meeting organized in Ankara and announced that the main topic of the meeting was new education investments in the city.
 
Özer stated that 81 school buildings in Ankara will be reinforced in 2022 and the Ministry will allocate approximately 500 million liras for the reinforcement of school buildings.
 
"We will complete natural gas installation at all schools in the city until the end of June"
Özer stated that 14 new high schools including one science high school, 4 special education campuses, 6 dormitories and 13 workshops will be founded in Ankara in 2022 adding that natural gas installations at all schools in the city will be completed by the end of June.
 
"We have allocated a total of 4.3 million education investment for Ankara including construction of new school buildings, school building reinforcements, natural gas installations and minor repairs. We have decided to increase our budget by 4 times and we will allocate 4.3 billion liras as education investments for Ankara," said Minister Özer.
 
"Number of Science High Schools will reach 18"
Özer noted that the number of science high schools in Ankara which is 15 will reach 18 adding that, "We have 18 Science and Arts Centers in Ankara and we have decided to found 5 more centers in the city."
