EFFICIENCY OF THE INSPECTION SYSTEM INCREASED

With an amendment in the Presidential Decree, a more effective guidance and inspection mechanism based on personal and corporate development is established in order to increase the quality of education.

The amendment published in the Official Gazette sets out;
 
Inspectors working in the provincial directorates of national education have a new tenure as the "education inspectors" in the Ministry of National Education.
 
Newly assigned 750 deputy education inspectors have reinforced the guidance and inspection capacity of schools and teachers.
 
In line with the Presidential government system and other legislative arrangements, title of "Ministry Education Inspector" is changed into "Ministry Inspector."
 
In the aftermath of the amendment, the Ministry will initiate the selection, appointment and training process of 750 new deputy education inspectors.
 
The new amendment is expected to maintain coordination and uniformity in the guidance and inspection services and more effective management of education training programs in line with the legitimacy principle and monitoring student achievements, on the job training programs, inspection and guidance services. This amendment aims at using human resources in the most effective and economic way possible.
