ZİYA TEACHER SHARES STUDENTS' JOY OF REPORT CARD

Visiting the village school in the Akyurt district of Ankara on the last day of the 2020-2021 school year, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, shared the joy of the students who received their report cards. Coming together with the students as part of the remedial training activities, Minister Selçuk said, "Our colleagues are the ones who know the needs of the schools best. They make designs specific to each school and class. They organize games and school events. These activities, which continue throughout the year, will also continue in the summer." 

Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk attended the report card handing out ceremony held by Büğdüz Village Primary and Secondary School in Akyurt district of Ankara on the last day of the 2020-2021 school year. 
 
Visiting the village school, Ziya Teacher, shared the joy of the students who received their report cards. As a part of the remedial training activities, he met with the students in the workshop on agriculture. Together with students Selçuk fed the chickens in the coop. He picked cherries and made an anchor in the garden.
 
Accompanying those who sing in sign language, Minister Selçuk stated that the social and emotional compensation activities will continue throughout the summer and the preparations for the next year have already begun.
 
Participating in the story time of the kindergarten students in the garden, Selçuk had a conversation with the teachers.
 
After the activities, Selçuk shared the joy of the students who received their report cards and wrote "We are at school all summer long # I'm in the remedial training too" on the board. He also distributed T-shirts with the inscription "I'm In the Remedial Training, Too" to the students.
 
Explaining that he traveled to many places in Turkey and witnessed that students in all schools make real social and emotional compensation, Minister Selçuk stated that this year, unlike other years, the activities will also continue in the summer months.
 
Emphasizing his happiness to share the excitement of the students, Selçuk said, "It is great for children to meet nature, get to know life and to have support from their teachers about their academic deficiencies. I would like to thank our teachers and principals. Our colleagues are the ones who know the needs of the schools best. They make designs specific to each school and each class. They organize games and school events. These activities, which continue throughout the year, will continue in the summer."
